Sports Therapist

I graduated university with First Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Therapy in 2022 from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, I am also a member of The Society of Sports Therapists.

During my degree, I gained experienced in treating in both clinic and sporting environments, this allowed me to gain exposure to a vast range of individuals, injuries and sports. In particular, I have worked with a semi-professional netball team, I have also worked at charity events such as the three peaks challenge, rugby and netball tournaments and half and full marathons.

Now, I work with NHS patients 4 days a week and am at Poynter Injury Clinic one day a week. My NHS work means I have seen a variety of different injuries, issues and post operative rehab patients.

Having previously gone through intense physiotherapy as a young teenager for a long term back pain, this inspired me to step into the industry and want to make a positive difference. I have a background in hockey, netball and dance and have had my fair share of injuries, and because of this gives me even more understanding of both the physiological and psychological impacts of an injury or long term pain, and the importance of a supportive, positive professional working alongside you.

I enjoy listening to podcasts, reading journal articles and attending CPD webinars to keep up to date with the latest research within this field and I believe everyone should experience the best possible treatment whatever the injury may be, with this treatment both patient centred and backed by up to date research which is what I based my practice around, and will work with you to achieve your goals.

I enjoy keeping active and teach small group classes.
